2018 was the year of the mini session and I loved it! Did you know I offer mini-sessions on demand as well as organized days throughout the year?
Mini sessions are such a great way to update your family wall because they are affordable, fast and for organized Big Mini Days you don’t have any planning to do. You just show up somewhere I’ve picked and planned and you don’t have to clean anything ;)
My summer minis were at Cherry Beach, which I was so excited about. I’d never photographed there and had been dying to try it out. It didn’t disappoint, although the heat was SWELTERING and we had to spend a lot of time hanging out in the shade. I can’t wait to do these again next year.
For fall I planned a day at Cedarvale Park to photograph so many beautiful families. Of course, mother nature thought she’d play a joke on us and made a very drizzly day for us. But by the time we started shooting it had cleared up and we just had gorgeous moody light to show for it!
My Christmas minis were in the Lounge at the Mint Room and the set up was stunning. Just like all the beautiful people who came to hang out with me for the afternoon. This session sold out in 48 hours, even though I added a second date. It was crazy and super rewarding so thank you to everyone who came out.
Mini sessions tend to be a bit more formal than lifestyle and documentary sessions because they are only 15 minutes. So we get right in to the different groupings to get the timeless poses you’re going to want to frame and I capture all the cuteness in between
The thing I always find so interesting about mini sessions is seeing the way that different outfits change the whole vibe of the shoot.
