A hybrid newborn lifestyle session with some posed newborn photos as well!
When Tasha wrote to me about doing a newborn session I was so excited. We had done her first son’s birthday photos earlier in the year and I was so happy to be invited back in to their lives. But I was also a little nervous. I had seen their newborn album for their first babe and it was a beautiful studio session full of curly newborn poses in wraps and baskets and it was oh so sweet. But it’s not what I do with newborns, so I sent her a few blog posts to make sure she would be happy with what we made.
Tasha was so awesome, she was happy to have a lifestyle session but asked if we could make it a hybrid session with some posed newborn photos at the end. The perfect solution! So I pulled up to their house with my regular newborn stuff (lights, camera, wraps) and some extra stuff as well (baskets, backdrops and blankets).
It was such a lovely morning. Their first is such an adorable big brother, he’s not even two yet which can totally end in so much jealousy. But with Tasha’s mom and Rajan’s mom both staying with them to help out he’s spoiled for attention which leaves lots of room to be a wonderful brother. He was all over his baby, holding him, snuggling him, and investigating every little bit of him.
Scroll down to see the lovely morning we had. And if you’re expecting get in touch so we can talk about planning your session! It’s best to book me around the end of your second trimester, and we can finalize the date once your sweet babe arrives!
